Weeks later in still laughing

I need someone to explain to me what is happening here and what they are. Are they baby locusts or grasshoppers? Why are they this colour?

This monkey was acting nervous about something. Then again I did find them humping in the middle of the path. She’s giving her partner the look of “d…d…do you think he saw us?”
