I still kinda cringe hard seeing postsoviet people that immigrate here yet talk of "bad people with not white color" and how "civilized" they are compared to them. I'm glad I didn't become that. And because of this constant exposure, trauma is just deeper.

To be honest, it's sad. When I was little and understood not that much of anything American history related, raised in an atmosphere of racist people, where it was "okay", I did act ignorant. It haunts me, but I am glad I learned what is racism, to not repeat that.
