Last week, our Research Degree student Koki Shimizu attended the EHA Congress in Milan 🇮🇹🤝

He presented his poster on “Socioeconomic inequalities in acute myeloid leukaemia treatment in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ”— shedding light on the impact of social factors in cancer care. 👏

2️⃣ weeks ago, our Project Administrator Nikolina Pajic attended @usemydata.bsky.social’s National Patient Data Day, where she networked & gained valuable insights into Patient & Public Involvement & Engagement (PPIE).

Our Advisory Group member, Richard Stephens, also attended the event.

Most interventions focus narrowly on screening, missing broader systemic issues.
