if i were to consider both stories together, i would personally say: the people and events that came and went around them were dull compared to their depictions of devotion. their attraction to each other, like the sea crashing into the sand, swept away everything except them.

tj’s disappearance from yw’s life makes me feel the same way, he gave both yw and himself a chance to bury their feelings. but after that, hae-jun’s gradual collapse in the movie and yw’s increasingly restless appearance in the last chapters show that this didn't work very well.

i want to continue with that scene that reminded me of chapter 32. it was an amazing scene where i could read the emotions between the two couples from their facial expressions, maybe it was the first time they were so open and at the same time so closed about their feelings.

i don't actually have much to say about the holy grail because i still can't wrap my head around it, except that it seems interesting to me that the person who carries the holy grail with the blood inside it, mythologically and symbolically, is "Joseph of Arimathe".

as seen above, tj has a “couple” of swallows, the birds are standing on two different shoulders but both are facing each other and are making their way to their partners. if we look at the picture a little more broadly, we see the archangel slaying the dragon (i.e. the devil).
