in the latter case, usually putting smth in ur bio like “(age) ↑ “ is helpful to let ppl know ur older or smth,, but yes minors putting their exact ages in bio is v much a safety concern

people initially put pronouns to normalize it as a few years back it was a thing only trans people did, so others joined in on it to normalize it + lets others know how to refer to you! and some people dont want ppl of certain ages following them (+18 accs or minors that dont want to se that stuff)
