Same. I cycle 10 miles each way over a big hill, c. 300m. Too much day-in day-out on a normal bike. Having an e-bike makes it easy. Only takes 10 mins more than driving and so much more enjoyable.

Hardly. Just doing his job to make sure a rushed and poorly thought through piece of legislation doesn't have unitended negative impacts.
