I get what you're saying, my friend. That's why I described the current situation where their federal funds are being taken away so they are less inclined to do what you're saying. It unfortunately comes down to funding or rather the removal of funding that's taking place.

The removal of the tax credit will hamper that. Its a multipronged attack designed to hamstring EV adoption. It's definitely going to slow it down, but just like them last time it won't stop it.

That's unfortunately the problem... The 🍊🤡 has been reducing federal funding for multiple things that are higher priority, like healthcare, so states now have less funding to work with and have to prioritize where the funding goes. Only way to see more EV chargers is for people to buy more EVs.

In order for the "America" charging network to "skyrocket" we need to see MASSIVE, double digit charger deployment growth in the states not California. As it is, everyone's mostly single digit and several states have *declined*.

Sadly... The plans were laid and funds secures but then any 🍊🤡 illegally revoked the funding. So the states & companies have to do it on their own. On a positive note, capitalism aka "profits" is actually helping to keep companies investing and implementing plans for more chargers nationwide.
