A great afternoon for some football and an Aggies win! #GoAgs #Shredville #StingersDown.

I even had two Davis classics to bookend the game…Dos Coyotes for lunch (shrimp burrito) and Woodstock (causeway classic) for dinner.

And…I got to see two of my favorite Davis residents!

I attended the OPUD board meeting because its agenda contained an item to update the board on the South County Infrastructure project.

This project is critical for the residents of Wheatland, benefits OPUD ratepayers, and could unlock economic benefits for all of Yuba County.

I'm in Sacramento this morning for the monthly SACOG board meeting. The board includes a representative from each of the six counties and 22 cities in our region.

We approved a 20-year regional land use and transportation plan. You can read the plan at www.sacog.org/planning/blu...

I was honored to attend the ribbon cutting for the new Da Vinci 5 Robotic Surgical System at Adventist Rideout Hospital.

The board will consider purchasing low-floor cutaway buses, a zero-emission bus waiver request, a Caltrans planning grant, and funding for the NextGen transit facility.

The SACOG Board meets this Thursday to take action on the 2025 Blueprint —the long-range plan shaping how our region grows, moves, and protects natural resources. The agenda also includes an update on the Regional Trail Network strategy
