Purple!!

I know I'm good at this, but I need more experience. More than that, I need confidence.

Enough to boost my skills and challenge my ego-involvement paralysis, to... write my own story, someday.

Lots of other challenges to tackle for me to he able to accomplish that, but.. I really want to.

I want to get involved with more FVNs. I love editing, refining ideas. I would also relish the opportunity to translate them into Spanish, spearhead the filling of a long-neglected niche.

Outside of Northern Lights, I've only had the chance to proofread a translation for another VN, but that's it.

I have a lot of growing left to do, but I finally feel like I'm finding myself.

That's why I really want to give back. If I could make a life out of contributing to the furry scene, I would. And if the written word is what I'm best with...

And have been able to see the impact our work leaves in people, and partly because that door led to me finding a group of friends I can comfortably call my family. A boyfriend included!

This is but one big step forward out of many I need to take to set my life on a sustainable course. It took me long enough to get here. Hopefully, with this I can build my own skills, get a job, start feeling some pride in myself, grow more autonomous, and finally get out of this country.

This is something I've known I wanted to do for about half a year now, but I was scared of trying something new, hating myself as I avoided confronting my inaction.

It's been hard. The abstract thinking required for programming doesn't come easy to me. My resolve has been tested.

I've also taken to study Brandon Sanderson's lectures on sci-fi/fantasy writing. As in, taking intensive notes on it.

I know writing is learned by writing, but I want to get into it with a solid foundation on what to keep in mind, to avoid burning out so quickly.

And I got ideas brewing.
