i think its very bad to pay a company a monthly fee for peer to peer online and some emulated games that are locked to the service
i would rather pay slightly more to actually have more control on when i can play games
they are a greedy company, that's it.

maybe the fact that you don't lose those individual games if you cancel a subscription, the fact that whenever you want, you can pick the console back up and play the game you want without having to shill out a monthly fee

paid online would make a little more sense if they were dedicated servers, but it's peer to peer, glorified hamachi that you pay to use.

paid online is shitty no matter who is doing it, PS+ does the same shit but at least the games they give you each month can be bought independently from the service
