Wondering what you think about this: is there any difference beyond semantics, between simulating a system and prediction? For example in the context of intuitive physics with humans. My sense is that those actually are two different processes, simulation happening offline v.s. prediction online

not advocating for one language or the other (was a heavy julia user, but doing more python so as not to forget the language + jax is really cool) but, shall someone compile a list of all python bugs ever to potentially plague research analysis, irrespective of whether they have been addressed?

of all of issues mentioned there are only 3 outstanding ones not fixed by the community. seems a bit misleading, as anyone who doesn't go through all the links will come away from this assuming julia has all these bugs today
