A mistake a lot of democrats did during Biden's presidency was to tune out of politics. We were so tired of Trump's presidency that we decided to turn off politics of every media consumption. When we decided to return to be politically active, we were late.

My thanksgiving was amazing and petty because a surprise visit of a family member, who secretly voted for Trump, began to cry because the economy is going to be bad next year. My level of pettiness was so high that I got to tell him that Trump voters should not be crying and just suck it up.

I should not be judging people, but every time I hear a white person say that he/she is Christian, I automatically become suspicious of the person.
I worked at a global law firm where I had to go through 2 background checks and 1 conflict check to handle cases for big corporations. Now that Trump and his cabinet are not going through a background check, can we please have formally incarcerated folks work on big job without a background check?
