Got my high school diploma, so i could skip the last day of school to pack instead. I'll be going on a long trip with Lauren so I won't be there for moving weekend, but at least i found all the missing glasses filled with little succulents i hid from myself

DD and James were celebrating Cy's birthday with me and Alison in Grandma and Grandpa's house, but there were too many rooms so we kept losing each other. but in the process we found secret basement rooms, 2 extra floors, and fence we could escape from. family legacies infecting the future

Sequestered in a safe house did prevent me from getting murdered by my ex BFF and my mom from driving me more crazy, but I wound up there for over 2 years and could only consume tomato juice

Waking up in America feels like walking into your kitchen and seeing the refrigerator doors were wide open all night

Vivian's lizard was cold so he slept on the back of my neck during the day. Cold blooded can still be comforting

at the Mediterranean spa hotel, I invited my dead aunt to the no-men sauna. a cousin tested my genetic powers: heat up a rubber band, cool it down, move it with my mind (I succeeded). strolling the industrial paths by the shark moat, a beautiful somebody's-boyfriend felt me up. Still I felt lonely.

It was not respectful for me to leave Eileen Myles's class to climb up to the apartments, but it wasn't my fault that I got stuck with no stairs or ladders to get down. I missed the dance lesson so I dropped out of Eileen's show, even though she loved how I played the oboe for the second part. :(

We caught a pigeon that Dad wanted to process. Apparently they have a lot of meat. While he and my aunt were looking for tools, I noticed it was coming out of its stupor and I let it walk around, coming to. It was cute to me then, so it flew out the window and I let it. I don't feel bad.

The horror movie about the woman in the cabin caring for an immaculate white swan: washing it, feeding it. Treating it as something more delicate than a blood lusting agent of chaos.

the end of the play features a massive living eel, supported in wooden scaffolding, that vomits a tube of clear then murky yellow then deep blood colored gel. this tube is person sized.

Thanks again to my father who, a self appointed but reluctant theatrician, walked me home to grab my script during the play when I had no lines memorized. Thanks also to my fellow cast who improvised alongside my performance as a harried Southern barista.

swimming back home from the island, an orca started playing with me and James, eventually putting me in its head like a hat and carrying me to the shore.

Bringing the trailer to my seminar in Germany was a mistake; I wish id gotten my parents to clean it out. Lugging around a ladder and using a dresser instead of a suitcase became a problem quickly. At least others could use the space to work out while we were on the road.

The sale at the shoe store was so good that Carly suggested buying a pair and a few diamonds so that we have an investment. she said "now THAT'S worth going into debt for"

so nice that they rent out horse costumes at assateague so kids get a chance to ride "ponies" while still keeping distance from the real ones

My cousin has a black thylacine in the barn, totally domesticated so it's fine around the chickens and cats. It'll jump on its hind legs for a treat for over a minute! so cute

that bridge is often partly covered with water, but this time we had to get off and just walk through the water. terrified to run into a gator or snake, we stepped hard and synchronized. maybe predators would think we're more of an elephant than fish.
