Easter is lit dude, besides celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus, it's one of the few times a year that the whole family gathers together

You have no idea what "chronic mistreatment" means. If anything, that description would be more accurate for veterans, since a growing number face homelessness and those benefits you spoke of are becoming nonexistent because of the current administration.

Twist it however you want, but my argument stands. I'm not gonna continue wasting my breath going circles with yall about my reasoning for it. Because it's obvious that no matter how many times I explain it, there is absolutely no effort made to understand my point.

If i hadn't already made my position clear, it's my firm belief that lgbtq doesn't deserve more attention than vets.

Somehow noting that lgbtq gets more recognition than vets is suddenly "targeting" them? Like this is the third time in a row on this post I've been accused of "targeting" or "going after" trans people. A holiday i was unaware of happened today and I was just sharing my thoughts on that.

It wasn't just in the 70s! It isn't until recently (like within the last decade) that people have come around to appreciate what they did. And now I'm saying that as they finally get over that hurdle, a new one is presented in the form of them being drowned out by increasing lgbtq celebrations.

The Vietnam war vets would probably beg to differ, not only did they have to go over there to fight a terrible war and survive it, but then they had to deal with hatred and vitriol when they got back because the American public doesn't like like our military actions in Vietnam.

First of all, saying I have fractured relationships with "everyone" is a blanket statement and is not the truth. It's only certain people there i don't get along with. And to be quite honest, they're people I don't intend to reconcile with bc they're it is very clear they dislike me as a person
