I got to meet Barry Gordon in 2024 at Pensacon. I have an autograph with his headshot beside a shot of Donnie from the 90s cartoon that has the message, "For (Flynx) GIVE 'EM SHELL! Barry Gordon - Donatello" at my work desk to cheer me on. 🥰

Is Donnie your fave? I love the nerd. When I was really young, I liked Mikey because he was the kind of energy I liked. As I got older, I started masking (Late diagnosed AuDHD looking back on life.) behind books and encyclopedias and felt more kindred with Donnie.

It took at least 70 years of attacks on our institutions and society to force us into the capitalist dystopia we suffer within. It's gonna take a long time to get out of it, especially with a bunch of fellow Americans who lack the critical thinking skills and wisdom to work together.
