And this could mean cutting environments I don't feel safe in, cutting people who don't respect the journey of growth that I am going through. I know that reclaiming my sense of self also means goodbye to certain seasons and people in my life.

But I also know that this means becoming hyperindependent. This means learning to be strong by myself for myself. This means having to say goodbye to the inner child in me that wanted to stop being strong all the time.
