It’s not surprising that Danielle Smith opposes any sort of energy restrictions. Alberta is heavily dependent on oil revenues to deliver basic public services like healthcare and education. Moreover, she’s pretty much an Alberta sovereignist. She doesn’t believe in or care about the rest Canada.
