Not all bishops would have the courage to do the right thing like that.

I am on a civil grand jury because I treasure serving my community by way of my gifts, talents, time, and energy. That, and my version of a knife fight is making terrible people so comfortable that they tell me the worst things they've done. And I *love* that kind of fight.

Grand juries still work during government shut downs.
