I've taught a unit on power and one of the questions is "does this attract those who desire power or does the power make those even with good intentions become corrupt" and the general, good answer is "both in different % depending on the place and circumstances"

I work with 12th graders. Everyday there is a chance to feel like Sarah Conor in that one scene in Terminator 2: Judgement Day but I'm the only skeleton.
