This weeks film was Frankenstein! On the big screen! I'm no Frankenstein expert, but this is the second del Toro film that feels like an Ao3 version of existing property. I enjoyed it because it's got naked Oscar Isaac and occasionally my standards are pretty low, but it's a bit much.

Hi everyone, I'm urgently looking for any work. I'm a writer and narrative designer, I offer game consultations and mock reviews, I localise between German and English, I can write copy. If it needs words, I'll do it! Here's some games I've written on in the past:

Two games I've worked on, Oddsparks and Tiny Bookshop, are nominated at the Deutsche Entwicklerpreis (German Development Awards)! Congrats to my fellow devs :)

Despite the title and some fundamentals you can find in any game writing book, this is the rare type of book I'd give both early writers and studio heads looking to integrate writers better. If those exist. Richard describes MANY familiar sutuations and how to deal with them better.

The watercolours are beautiful, his characters are Ghibli-esque, and I feel a huge love for everyday life coming from his work. I enjoyed this a lot more than the very popular Houses with A Story by Yoshida Seiji(sorry) The book has both Japanese and English text.

You might know that I collect books of illustrative art. I wanna introduce you to a huge hit, Imaginary Storefronts by Mateusz Urbanowicz. You might know his book Tokyo Storefronts! This is a fantastic book of his own store designs, complete with lil stories of their owners and patrons.

Tonight's film was The Smashing Machine. Never watched a film so devoid of stakes, as if afraid to make The Rock look bad. It's likely the story for a film just wasn't there.I never knew who to root for or why THE CAMERA WAS SO FUCKING BAD. Film ending in a supermatket parking lot for 0 reason

Tonight's film was One Battle After Another. I'm going to write a longer thing about this, because this was 10/10, film of the year, and it left me with a lot of complicated personal feelings.

They had types of goldfish I'd never seen, many of wish looked like evolution still figuring stuff out, which was super interesting. I guess goldfish don't need a lot of stimulation, but there were so many of them, in small containers without any real plants or much space to swim, it left me uneasy

Upon coming back, I immediately got sick and immediately started battling my unexplained autoimmune shit again, so let me post some last few Japan pictures. This is the Ginza Art Aquarium, strange bc it's just inside a department store. Cool visually, but I was worried about the fish tbh.
