"As Above, So Below" (2014)
The last horror movie of the month for me was also my favorite. This was such an unexpected and welcome trip into the depths of hell. It's The Descent meets Silent Hill and National Treasure.
My wife and I had such a fun time with this that I immediately purchased it.

#SCREAM is a series that means so much to me. It has brought me joy since 1996 and for the most part, it has always delivered.

"Hell House, LLC II: The Abaddon Hotel" (2018)

An impressive horror debut that mixes modern horror cinematography with elements of found footage to create something unique.
Not perfect but I really appreciate the world building and atmosphere throughout. The exploration of "Hell Hound" lore was also a nice touch.

I'm on a roll. Been curious about this one - especially as an Osgood Pirkins joint post Longlegs and The Monkey.
Kinda slow and the ending is weird but it sure did capture the "fairy tale" vibe well and for that, I appreciate it.
