Agreed. I spoke with someone close who teaches in Charlottesville. The administration called out his district. His peers are split between fighting, potentially suing, or complying and scrubbing everything that could make them a target.
Even if it's silent resistance, it feels like complicity.

Government data should be stable. Racing to relocate pebibytes of rotting data before it's gone is expensive and miserable. Confidentiality, integrity, and availability are a balance.

Yeah, become a contractor make double while the Gov pays triple and throws kickbacks. Taxpayer gets less but pays more. Wonderful.
