I think just the stars and river look nice. Out of interest what sort of paper are you printing on?

I miss those days. There was a great PowerShell, great networking and a great WiFi community there. Everyone was supportive and helped each other.
Mostly gone now and fragmented all over the place :(

You clap at the end of the blow pipe and hope that by some miracle of physics enough pressure and air gets there to turn the glass in to a lovely vase before it solidifies

I forget what I watched but I heard someone describe train driving as something that requires a lot of concentration on something that is incredibly uninteresting 99% of the time. There was even a term for it that I can’t remember

For a minute there I thought this was how to apply flea treatment to a cat

Did think there was a big queue at Heathrow when I looked out the hotel window

Your art is gorgeous. Even the mini paintings not only look great they’re a perfect size to display. Keep it up!

That is a bit odd. I would expect the company to be footing the bill for it and not you

I think if they’re similar enough and you’re clear enough in the description that you’ll be getting of them at random it’ll be fine. Mostly as long as you’re clear and up front about I can’t see it being a problem
June 17, 2025 at 7:09 AM
Depends how similar they are i think for me
June 16, 2025 at 5:40 AM
What camera are you getting?
June 10, 2025 at 9:19 PM
It’s been bugging me all day what’s wrong with it and that’s it!

Sounds a bit like systems analysis
May 30, 2025 at 5:40 PM
Don’t tell me, you were hopping mad! Sorry, couldn’t resist
May 30, 2025 at 6:18 AM
You’re a perfectionist!

Yep. An old friend of mine developed specifications for some parts of transaction processing that are still in use today. He even got paid a lot of money to look at why it was broke a few years ago as well. COBOL never dies!
May 24, 2025 at 4:49 PM
Banking and finance mostly. Systems written in the 90s are still processing billions of transactions every night to move money to where it should be because it’s just so reliable
May 24, 2025 at 3:23 PM
Not sure if that’s a dream or a nightmare
May 20, 2025 at 10:09 AM
I mean I assume your car came with brakes and you haven’t been driving round all this time going well I hope this thing stops in time! Hope your foot is better soon

When we had cats that would have accidents we’d clean the area with disinfectant but the trick we found to get rid of odours was slice an onion in half and leave it in the room for a few days and it will pull the smell out and absorb it

I am now wondering how one obtains that amount of m&ms. For research purposes obviously

Having known a bank programmer who got called in to look at code he wrote 30 years ago because it stopped working one night yeah, I don’t think they understand nor will they succeed
