Doing good with the time I've been given.
Troops policed LA in the 90s, broke up the Bonus March, policed Detroit in the Long Hot Summer of ‘67, etc.

It’s not even state-run since the shares don’t even come with voting/governance rights.

If it were state-run, it might actually work then like things do in China.

I’m against the US helping Israel so I’m not sure what that’s supposed to mean?
August 19, 2025 at 5:28 PM
It’s not. I’m not even a fan of the US lol

Why do you think when Trump talks about kicking anyone out of the 5 Eyes, they freak out? American intelligence is top notch.

How does Ukraine get targeting info if the US cut Europe off from intel and GPS usage?
August 19, 2025 at 4:38 PM
It would not be the same the opposite way. The US doesn’t need European equipment or intelligence. Europe doesn’t even have an alternative to GPS.

It wouldn’t defy logic because they will just think it’s only this admin and not others.
August 19, 2025 at 4:24 PM
If single countries in Europe leave NATO, then not much changes. If the US leaves, the organization is gone.

Those military planners have no choice because they chose to rely solely on the US for much of the equipment, intelligence, etc.
August 19, 2025 at 4:12 PM
Hell, Supreme Allied Commander Europe has always been a US military officer.
August 19, 2025 at 3:50 PM
They have stated that if the US leaves NATO, there is no NATO. Because the US is the backbone. If it leaves, the alliance falls apart.

America has been saying it longer than a decade lol
August 19, 2025 at 3:49 PM
Yes so that’s why the US is NATO. Without it, the alliance falls apart. European leaders have literally said this multiple times. It’s not an arrogant American thing. It’s the truth.
August 19, 2025 at 3:40 PM
It’s not ignoring anything. It’s the truth that even European leaders recognize.
August 19, 2025 at 3:19 PM
It is. Why do you think European leaders are so adamant about the US staying and using American equipment.

The US is the strategic partner. It’s why it bullies Europe because both sides know the US is NATO.
August 19, 2025 at 3:19 PM
Yes because you think China is only thinking about a hypothetical war with Taiwan.

China would be happy to avoid the war and continue to expand its economic might.

They also acknowledge how fickle the US is so they know things can change at a moment’s notice.
August 19, 2025 at 2:54 PM
They don’t regret it because they are making money lol

Again, China is fine with being cool with everyone. It is the world’s manufacturer. It is happy having all these markets open to it.
August 19, 2025 at 2:28 PM
NATO is the US. You cannot have NATO without it. Tons of the equipment is American. The American bases in Europe are security guarantees.

The rest of NATO doesn’t have the capabilities of the US and to build it will take a really long time.
August 19, 2025 at 2:27 PM
GDP is a metric that takes very little into account. Even the inventor of it didn’t want it to be used in this way.

Mississippi has a bigger GDP than Chongqing in China but Chongqing is far more advanced than places like New York.
August 19, 2025 at 1:08 PM
Doubt what will happen in the long-term? That European NATO countries will be beholden to the US? Too late. The US is the guarantor of NATO. Without it, there is no NATO.

It makes no sense that this is a new strategy focused on China lol
August 19, 2025 at 11:11 AM
Why does the US care about European security especially when it comes to economics? European NATO countries will continue to purchase US equipment so why do they care?
August 19, 2025 at 12:26 AM
War is logistics.
August 19, 2025 at 12:18 AM
The stockpiles aren’t to deter China. They are to fight a war with China. You can’t fight a war without equipment.
August 19, 2025 at 12:18 AM
The US doesn’t want war with China if they can help it. China doesn’t want war with the US if it can help it either.
August 18, 2025 at 11:32 PM
That wouldn’t deter China if they truly wanted to take Taiwan. Nothing will.

It’s already a diplomatic nightmare for the US as the US position is that Taiwan is part of China. They can’t point to international law being violated as they state that it’s part of China already.
August 18, 2025 at 11:30 PM
But they are literally moving toward them all. Chinese goods are ubiquitous in the US. Chinese cars are going to take over Europe. China is helping Russia manufacture many things.
August 18, 2025 at 11:17 PM
China didn’t get involved now. Why would Russia get involved anyway unless it was an existential war for China?

Even if Russia helps the US, how is the US or Russia gonna manufacture anything they need? Something like 40% of rare earth metals and chips for the US military come from China lol
August 18, 2025 at 11:16 PM
The US wouldn’t go to war to defend Taiwan if the chip factories it didn’t have the chip factories.

It’s not altruism. The US doesn’t actually care about Taiwan.

It’s not globalized to that extent which is why Taiwan is important to the US.

The official US position is One China, btw.
