Had a regular at my store call me ma'am today not paying attention then remembered that I am, in fact, a large bald man. They apologized, I said "Doesn't bother me any, no worries." to which they muttered 'Hah, gay." and I said "Sometimes" and they apparently couldn't comprehend that response.
