People are sooooo desperate to have Tifa in Tekken (for good reason, I understand), but it's easy to forget that Harada said something about FF7 characters being expensive to license.

The fact that Astro Bot not only released after the monumental fuck-up that was Concord but also swept the Game Awards AND walked away with the GOTY award just adds insult to injury.

I mean… T8 isn't exactly a perfect game (very, VERY far from it), but compared to the other options (MVCC aside), at least it's a more conventional fighting game that we're familiar with when we think of the genre.

I find it fucking hysterical for the simple fact that Clive looks more out of place in Tekken than NOCTIS AND NEGAN ever did.

And that is saying a hell of a lot.

They're certainly full of surprises, I'll give them that.

On one hand, for folks that love Clive and FFXVI (a fine game in its own right), I'm happy for 'em. I really am.

I genuinely don't understand people that treat fighting games like a job.
This is a hobby where you get to have conversations through play with friends and acquaintances. Trying to monetize that is poison.

IMO, a good fix to Homing moves is simply limiting their abundance - every character has like 4-5 Homing moves to use *minimum*, as opposed to like 2-3 at most.

Some moves like Steve's df+2 simply shouldn't even *be* homing moves to begin with lmao

You say that as if Low Parries weren't a problem in T7.

Imagine trying to poke your opponent with a perfectly safe ~-12 oB low only for them to low parry you into a combo that carries you to the wall aaaaand the round's over.
