Ukraine single-handedly pinned down Russian into this mess and consumed its power and energy which could have been otherwise deployed to undermining the western stabilization and value. Keep supporting them is the cheapest way to eliminate the thread and Urkaine should be the one being thanked.

This specific case shows the achilles' heel of the democracy. I sincerely hope this is an extreme edge case and the system still has the way to correct itself. Hope the pendulum hasn't swung too far to pass the corrective thredhold.
