The final part of my series: no gos on the Camino part 8: Disturbing the locals. I am a local myself, but living in the city center, it’s more the normal tourists that blocks my way than the pilgrims. But in small towns, even the sound of the sticks must drive the locals nuts.

Part 6 of my no-go series: sleeping in a dorm as a heavy snorer. I know that not everyone can afford private rooms, but if you can, take responsibility and don’t keep 10-30 other people up.

Eucalyptus forests are very typical along the Caminho Português. You’ll find them between Lisbon and Porto, as well as after Porto. The smell when the sun is shining is incredible.
