I love this, I'm an adult learner, 30 year old uni student. I find lots of students struggle at writing, but are clear verbal communicators. I seem to be the opposite - I make more sense on the page than verbally.

This is usually where social media artists then try to charge. I'm not looking to hire any illustrators currently I'm afraid.

I used to study Art & Design for years when I was in and first left school, but I'm very out of practice. I'm slowly getting back into it :)

Yeah a Nurse comes to check on the patient, assuming they are asleep. They're dead though. And the ghost is commenting on how she's always so busy.

Aha I do really enjoy flash/micro fiction because as a writer I started in Lyrics & Poetry. And my fantasy Franchise is plotted out in poetry form. I think when tackling short form fiction I was looking at it wrong.

The idea of the short is a busy hospital from the perspective of the dead. But I also want to make the 'Dead' Blasé about their passing.

The weirdest thing is I wouldn't call any of the people in it 'characters' but more like environment. The recently deceased Ghost is the main character and is the sole focus. It was actually inspired by 'Early Sunsets Over Monroeville' by MCR. With the line -

I haven't got a plot for my submission yet, as we're exploring different genres in short fiction in class. And comparing literary vs genre prose. However - Writing short form has been a weakness of mine. Mostly because I try to write 'genre' but realised I write quite decent short form lit.

Great Museums. Plethora of boutique eateries and book shops etc on Mill Road. Cambridge isn't a 'Fun' city though. People don't party much. Great bars and pubs though.
