Fifteen minutes left to Halloween trick or treaters. We had candy, zines, games, books, potatoes and Ramen. The Ramen was gone in 45 minutes; the games and zines all but gone. Plenty of candy handed out but, for the third year running, the potatoes proved a real winner. The children yearn for starch

Just pulled the barmbrack out of the oven. It’s not totally traditional as there are no prizes inside it; however, that’s probably a good thing as it will be eaten by the smaller members of the family as well as the grownups. A nice gift for any family who wishes to call on us, past or present.

Just got back from the Agora; what a great night! The Darkness were fantastic as always. My hearing and voice may be shot tomorrow, but tonight I have no regrets!

As an Ohioan, I think about the service this state did to save the Union when they were called upon. Our state’s leaders spit on that sacrifice.
