A mental health No No I'm guilty of as of late is doomscrolling on my phone.

To be real, I need to recover and rediscover Andrew McQueen. That's why I'm engaging in others loves of my life like drawing & painting, riding a bike and Tai Chi.

I participated in the Monthly Writing Challenge trying to finish an old comic book project but my creative engine was rusty and I couldn't go on.

I questioned my mental state and I wondered about recovering from work related stress since I'm not a manager anymore.

But this was a few months ago, mind you. A lot of changes were happening at my day job and it the heavy crown of leadership got 30 lbs heavier.

When I gave up the house manager title, it felt like the burden got a tad lighter. As time went on, I tried to get back in the game but nothing stuck.

I struggled to get back in mentally after stepping down from my management job. The stress of working seven days straight, moving with the chaos that comes with it.

But I stopped to question my well being and the stress had left me weary.

As of today I finished my first ever chapbook of poetry.
