Annoyed that they’re being given advice, Chara gives them a-

“Dad’s a dweeb. Sits around in his store all day making toys no one wants. Has to give the crap away… not that he minds. May as well be a charity.” Chara resents him for it. Most of the kids that come by are probably just trying to get a free toy out of him anyway.

Bruised and bloody, Chara sits under this tree hoping that if they seethe long enough, the bruises will magically mend themselves. Problem is, Chara doesn’t really believe in magic. She’ll likely have to face her parents and deal with their overreactive bullshit.
