Spent the last 4 months looking into LLM codegen quality and techniques of improving it for the new APIs (not in the training set).

Many learnings from the process, with the key one being: LLMs "preffer" good API design.

Codegen fails? Your human devs would be likelly confused as well!

✅ Just wrapped up the Pragmatic #Angular Testing workshop with @vitest.dev 4 — one of the most passionate groups I’ve seen.

Now, #ngdeconf is kicking off, and the energy’s already through the roof. 🚀

One of my favorite @vitest.dev features: "test.fails()"

It caught a bug that vanished after updating SWC — before I even had time to put my apron on and dive in.
Without it, that issue would still be open.

It defines two Angular standalone components — Title and Container. Title declares an input<string>() property and injects a service in the constructor. Container passes a "title" input to <jsc-title>. The test renders Container and expects the heading to be 'Hello input!'. Terminal output from running Vitest. All tests pass except one. The failing test is under src/swc-plugin-angular-input.spec.ts and labeled “🐞 should bind inputs even when property is assigned using constructor injection”. The console shows “→ Expect test to fail” in gray, confirming this is an intentional failing test marked with it.fails(). Other test files and cases are listed as passed with green check marks and execution times in milliseconds.
