Didn't see outstanding discussions on this topic here (or just missed)

I feel that the case of salami & dual submissions between NeurIPS workshop and ICLR was just a tip of iceberg

It looks like the author of 80 papers in question made their OR profile private or deleted it

Nice update from #ICLR2026 PCs 🫡

Curious what "LLM detection tools" PCs are using

I am also wondering if NeuRep workshop is taking some action for papers (presumably in question and then) "withdrawn" from ICLR 2026 by the authors

My timeline is full of complaints about #ICLR2026 reviews, accusing reviewers who used LM APIs to generate reviews

I want to share this idea again; PCs collaborate with major API providers and detect users who upload under-review submissions by using checksum or something
Sorry, but to me, injecting hidden prompts into a paper to ask for a positive review looks like an excessive self-defense as the authors take advantage of bad actors for their own gains

As it's tough to prove a review was written by some LM, I'd want a solution like this

If you're interested in contributing to the community by offering technical support, don't miss "5. TC Meetings: Call for OpenReview Assistance" in the newsletter !
The November issue of the PAMI-TC newsletter is out: tinyurl.com/yu2w4seu

Included is an important report from TC Ombud David Forsyth on the policy requiring authors to review.

There is also a certain conference paper deadline right around the corner... #CVPR2026

To improve system stability and provide a clearer submission process, we have just introduced 2 new deadlines that are now separate from the Abstract and the Paper Submission deadlines.

Congrats Dodgers on winning the world series, again (back-to-back)!

It was a rollercoaster game

There were many critical scenes for Dodgers, if they missed even one of them, they would have lost

Can't wait until next season and WBC😎

#ICCV2025 concluded, so did my Technical Chair role for the conference

It was a great honor working as Technical Chair closely with other organizers, especially PC and IEEE teams!

From now on, my TC focus are on WACV 2026 (R2) and CVPR 2026
This marks the end of this year's #ICCV2025! We wish you all the best and hope you had an amazing conference, full of intellectually stimulating conversations and deep insights.

We love this community and have enjoyed reporting from the ground (and virtually). Aloha! 🌺🌸

After 7 roller-coastering years, I made a tough choice to say good-bye and yesterday was my last day with an old profile that was taken as I was a 2nd-3rd year PhD student

N2S, no career update, yet :)

#ICCV2025 Day 0: AC workshop

For me, AC workshop is one of the most exciting opportunities during CVPR / ICCV e.g., hearing voices from and discussing with senior researchers 😎
