The Mario franchise has provided me with so many amazing memories with fun and creative gameplay with both the platformers and spinoffs, fun power ups, charming characters, fantastic music, and worlds that are so fun to explore. The Mario franchise will always have a very special place in my heart.

Overall, I would say Donkey Kong 64 is a great game. Sometimes the amount of collectibles can be overwhelming but I have fun going through the world's getting them. This game has a great soundtrack, and fun characters. Nintendo and Rare did a great job and I hope Bananza will be great as well.

You get to play as 5 Kongs in this game, all with their own abilities and collectibles to get. They can also get new abilities from Cranky Kong, plus their own weapons from Funky Kong, and instruments from Candy Kong. Golden Banana objectives vary from mini games, platforming challenges, and more.

The plugs system is introduced here letting you get buffs, debuffs, and effects making the combat more engaging. The story takes a while to really get going but is very interesting once it does. The ending sequence of this game is fantastic. Acquire did a good job carrying on Alphadream's legacy.

Along the way you solve the conflicts on each island and as the islands get linked more residents join Shipshape island. The battle system is great with the standard attacks being more dynamic than before. The bros attacks can be a bit tricky at first but are satisfying to pull off. Continued....

For getting 100 star points you can level up your HP, FP which lets you perform more powerful attacks, and BP which lets you equip badges. There are 2 new optional boss fights in this version that are the hardest fights in the game. The visual update is gorgeous with updated textures and lighting.

The battle system is very engaging. Mario has his signature jump and hammer attacks and the partners all have their own attacks and can learn new moves. There are also attacks from the crystal stars, and a badge system to customize your combat abilities. Continued....
