One of the most difficult things for me is choosing a background color that complements the painting. Sometimes, after adding color, I feel like leaving the background white would have looked better.

I got a bit confused with the perspective of the beams and columns above since it’s a low-angle view. Initially, I planned for the top to be a gable roof, but I decided to make it the lower floor of a room instead. #art #drawing #illustration #wip
