Yeah there's a few dc servers but I hesitate to recommend any of them except maybe the bgs ginhiji server - the Gintama public server is fine and very active but tbh is mostly full of kids.
As for fic recs, can't in good faith rec my own because I tend to write post canon, and mostly—
