I’m attempting my first life watercolour so using one of my references I’ve sketched out ready to ‘colour in’….though that might have to wait until after my Italy trip…..

It was a fantastic, exhilarating morning at Druridge Bay as I took part together with 1,400+ other people in the NESD (North East Skinny Dip) raising funds for MIND
The waves were high but it just added to the fun although a few mistimed jumps had me drinking more sea water than I’d wanted 😂🌊

The theme was summer special
Always an enjoyable session, incorporating the themed props into the poses. The theme was Summer but I was aided by Stanley who once again joined me on stage.

These were from May 2024 when I modelled at a local adult education centre which is where I first started to draw and I did my first ever modelling session.

I was a last minute stand in model for the sculpting class. The sculptor had to ‘transition’ me as the previous model was female so after a few adjustments was able to utilise what she had done the previous week

A brilliant evening modelling for @clarrier.bsky.social at Chapel FM centre for her group where she has done wonders harnessing their love of art and it’s great seeing their enthusiasm and skill. It was their first time drawing a male life model

I’ve been neglecting posting as preparing for the charity event.
These artworks are from my session run by the lovely Nicola & Harry. Such a chilled and relaxing evening and I enjoyed a lovely chat with them afterwards.

My ‘body positivity therapy’ I had to address the issue of being seen erect as years of bullying had left me with zero confidence and hating my body.
So working with a work colleague who helped my confidence, we liked the voyeuristic approach of this pose… the juxtapositional of it.

Another modelling session this week, first visit to this group. So relaxed and enjoyable, with the artists chatting to me. The seated was 20 mins and the standing pose was 55 minutes.
