Quite often, in my case, whether it's 1st or 3rd person.

Especially in "Gregory Kirk", where Gregory not only converses with the reader during the whole story, but also refers to the book as "book" from the very first lines. Even his Self complains for a chapter's title.

Here are some excerpts.
Who is This? "Hello, ladies and gentlemen! This is Daniel Skelton speaking!" "No, you are not!" Shut up, Self! This is a book, they don't see me so, they surely are going to believe it!" "Nobody will believe such a preposterous lie." So, I was thinking I should try to make contact with the most unpopular guys. Maybe one of them will be desperate enough at not having anyone else to stay with them during the trip and will be willing to stay with the faggot. This is the general idea, but I don't really have a plan. I mean, I don't even speak to them at all. So, how do I get close enough to any of them? Wish me luck! "Good luck!" "Not you, Self, the readers!" Wait, wait! What the fuck is this? Star Wars? The Rebel Alliance against the Werewolf Empire? I was expecting Narnia!" "Well, I've changed my mind." "Then change the fucking title as well, Greg! Wait, no! This is not the issue here. Reality, Greg. Focus. Reality!" I arrive at the school, climb the yard's gate and jump inside. Sun has set a long time ago now, so nobody is there, but as always, the yard is well lit. Then again, the street from where Jimmy is coming is not so. If you are under the impression I'm the kind of person who can stand on his spot, calmingly waiting for the Sex God to appear, please read the book again, for you've got it all wrong!
