I WAS sitting on the floor crocheting while my toddler played with the rocket ship but then she took my hook to go watch cartoons 😅

The finished socks blocked and ready to wear. Loving the toe up method it takes the guess work out of how tall to make the cuff.

I recently learned about the “afterthought heel” which is using waste yarn to mark the heel and pick it up afterwards instead of turning the heel. It felt like the socks worked up faster not having to stop for the heel. Of course now I have to go back to add them!

Our boy Kimchi only recently discovered he can in fact sleep on the rocking chair.

This absolute diva has heterochromia and I think it says something about him that his favorite hangouts are in front of a nail salon or the skincare shop.

The neighborhood strays are well cared for around here. This guy is waiting outside a restaurant for a snack. Yes, they leave the little seat so his feets don’t get cold.
