It's been 5 months since the federal siege of LA began. In recent weeks, raids have not been as widely reported as they were over the summer. Community defense teams witnessed a dramatic uptick in kidnappings in Ktown, Pico-Union, MacArthur Park, Mid City, & Downtown LA

AN UPTICK IN ATTACKS Five months ago today, federal agents began waging war on LA's immigrant communities. During that time, they've kidnapped thousands of our neighbors, friends, and family members, and created an economic crisis that has left many out of work and unable to pay for basic needs like food or rent. In recent weeks, raids have not been as widely reported as they were over the summer. But these attacks are far from over. In fact, our community defense teams witnessed a dramatic uptick in kidnappings in recent weeks, particularly in Central LA communities like Koreatown, Pico-Union, MacArthur Park, Mid City, and Downtown LA. We want to make sure we say this loud and clear: OUR COMMUNITIES ARE STILL UNDER ATTACK, AND WE NEED MORE HELP THAN EVER TO PROTECT THEM.
