I’m fully aware portions of us radioapple people can be annoying and too obsessed with canon so I don’t want to act like discourse is every one-sided but I figured a lil think piece about why maybe there’s a ship preference going into s3 wouldn’t hurt either

not saying again that means anything for canon I’m just pointing out that you’ll have a huge portion of FANON potentially not interested in changing their preferences this far in and that’s fine? So inevitably if ppl start discourse over others not liking luci/l*lith pls just remember this lol +

But that’s mainly based on that we’re not getting content of them until three seasons in, not that they’re not interesting. But let’s also be real/honest here: the radioapple side of fandom is HUGE. There are more radioapple fics than huskerdust and almost 4x what’s under the luci/l*lith tag +

Ofc everyone has to manage their own expectations FOR CANON + this has nothing to do w wht canon will/wont do I’m just speaking purely abt enjoyment based on what’s been presented to us already. think personally they’re gonna have to put a lot into making ppl be invested in luci/*ilith as a couple+

I, as well as I’m sure many, want to have fun in our fandom experiences with the things we can see and then maybe extrapolate on them, not necessarily have fun with a projection of what we haven’t seen and know nothing about? +

Basically I think it just breaks down to that some of us might not want to invest ourselves fandom wise in a pairing we’ve seen really nothing of, with only kinda emotionally negative context, and don’t know yet if there’s been any reliable narration about? +
