From a play experience POV I don't think it makes a bit of difference if the Japanese is more suggestive. Most people miss the note and those that read it are confused and then forget about it literally immediately, hahaha

Went through a bunch of beginnings of streamer playthroughs. 1 person said "What, did I write this?", about 30% said "What is paleblood? What the heck is that supposed to mean?", and about 70% missed the note altogether

Yeah, I think the translation for both those creatures are good and it's silly to imply that they're the same thing because they both use the same word. Authors have favorite words that tend to appear in a bunch of places in their writing, it doesn't always have some deep meaningful lore implication

Messenger is actually a worse translation than emissary. The important aspect of the word is someone who is sent out under orders. Messenger is just listed in the jp - eng dictionaries because it's the most common task they do 😆️

Like… the adds are the fun part. What even is that fight about if it’s not just getting him to stomp the adds? (Though actually, I do think the large add might need a hitbox tweak for stomping purposes, there were times I was positive I got him… but maybe he invulned through the stomp or smth?)

Wait… THAT’S the boss people are all worked up about? I fought him last night and yeah, he took me quite a few tries, but there were literally like three things to learn in that fight

"Gay romance" being classified as "pedo propaganda" is exactly what happened in Russia. In fact, even the most wholesome gay images are classified that way there, and the religious right in our country is drooling over the opportunity to do the same
