in other news, haven’t really done any arts/crafts/hobbies this year so far BUT i’ve been reading to study for my quals and it’s been super fun! learning all about how and why the atmosphere & oceans circulate. next chapter is about solid earth circulation 🤩

Presented a poster at AGU24 earlier this week! I’ve been working on an Arduino-based CO2 logger throughout most of this past year, so it feels great to be able to present results from a finished prototype. Can’t wait to get started on v2!

Pokémon Card highlight: Feebas full art from Surging Sparks illustrated by Kuroimori! I looove the way the holo effect looks like rays of light coming down through the water surface. This might be one of my fave Pokémon cards, and it’s one of the main reasons I wanted to start posting them :)

also since i’m feeling chatty rn: i think the thing i appreciate most about bluesky is the distinct lack of ads. my social media of choice has been instagram for as long as i can remember but being constantly bombarded by ads is SO exhausting.

lol can’t say i’m surprised i didn’t stick with this but i’ve been suuuuper busy and i wanna go through my old photography before posting any. i AM getting back into collecting pokémon cards tho so i think i’ll start posting my faves bc their art is soooo charming
hi i’m gonna try to post more on here, might try to post at least once every day? idk i’ve never been good at consistently posting anywhere, but i have a ton of nature photography that’s never seen the light of day
