Thank you so much! I was sorry that illness forced to zoom in rather than attend in person. I like your paper too. I studied Arabic for a while and despite not working with Arabic (morpho)phonology I find traditional explanations unintuitive and your proposal makes more sense to me.

The phonology of stød is complex. But in the article, I argue that the complexity of stød in compounds has previously been exaggerated because of an exceptional pattern being mistaken for a general rule. Resulting analyses become overly complex and still either overgenerate or undergenerate. (2/3)
