Leftover crust dough rolled out, butter, sugar and cinnamon, bake for 15 mins at 350.

Oh boy, oh boy, that crust in the pie is gonna be fantastic. This man handled bit of dough was so flaky and tender!

Pie is done. Apple pie. I brushed the top with milk, then sprinkled a little sugar, but it looks like I got a bit carried away there.

I'm not ready to go back to work tomorrow. This last week off has been so good for my brain spaces. I can already feel the stress of work creeping in. Looks like no or little sleep for me tonight, like any other normal Sunday night.

I need to figure out how to whittle down the number of repeated posts I see. Someone posts a picture/link, then I get anywhere from 2-10 reposts of the same thing.

One person thinks multiple reposting the post he just posted IS A GOOD IDEA. Just. Stop.

I might just have to thin the list a bit.

I did it! I finally took the Professional Scrum Master I cert test (PSM I) today and passed with a 91.3%.

Good thing too, because I'm now both the scrum master and QA for my team.

Yay, I didn't waste the company's money!

I'm also taking the beginner CompTIA A+ cert. My employer has courses that are tied to these certs, so I don't have to pay for the courses.

I've worked in almost all aspects of IT for 30 years, so most of the courses have been more of a walk down memory lane than learning new things.

I have purchased the test for getting my Scrum Master certificate.

I'll take the test exam again tomorrow to refresh, then take the exam later in the day.

Tests always make me anxious, but I just took on the job as SM (as well as QA) for my team, so I'm already doing it.

I got this.

One of the old Norse word for rainbow is regn-bogi (spelling from the OND). I saw a really nice one on the way to the store. Didn't get a pic as I was driving. Rainbows are one thing I'll never get tired of seeing.

I just realized that this year marks the 40th anniversary of me entering the workforce. Started cooking/serving/cleaning at age 14 on the weekends at the retreat house in Spring Lake, MI.

The longest time I have been without a job of some sort is probably no more than 6 months.

There comes a time in every woman's life where she needs to buy a pallet of gravel.

Today was my time.

It arrives either tomorrow or Thursday.

I have 6 *new dresses that I would not be concerned about wearing in public. As this goes on, y'alls might see me in more dresses when we meet.

*new = have had for 5+ years and not fit comfortably into them. I fit better now.

I did it! I hit 235 before my birthday!

Doc laughed when I asked if I could have a piece of cake Sunday, and said "Of course, silly! But just on Sunday!"

OH BOY! 😆

Saw my first cybertruck in the wild. Much smaller than I thought it would be. About the size of a mid-sized SUV, only wider.

I figured it was at least as big as the trucks around here.

I finally understand when someone says "I'm just not hungry" & is struggling to eat. I've always been in a perpetual state of hunger - until I started on these meds.

It's so weird to feel this way. Also, the silence in the brain, man....I can actually think about things other than hunger.

It's a good thing I know physical therapy works because I am so sore and slightly cranky. I know it will get better and I will no longer wobble like an old lady.

All the glute work won't give me a butt though. Flat butt for life, I'm afraid.

A 30 min walk shouldn't exhaust me as much as it does. I could totally nap right now.

Someday it will get easier.

I hope. I'm trying.

It occurred to me the other day that I have not had a problem with onions making me tear up for, what, a decade?

I wonder if it's because of my contacts? Having stupid sharp knives does help too.

Very curious.

The last couple days of last minute Christmas shopping has been amazingly positive.

Insanely busy, but most everyone were laughing, joking with each other and being generally helpful and nice. Store staff seemed to be in good spirits too, even though they are so SO busy.

Warmed my heart, it did.

Ham, fancy cheeses and onion pizza made with homemade dough on a pizzazz. And no, I'm not ashamed. That thing has been a blast to use, especially in the summer.

The fella who zoomed past me while honking because I was too slow ended up going to the same UPS store I did. I ended up in line ahead of him too. HAHA.

I behavied...I however, did make a point to look at him, no smile, no frown, just a quick look with one eyebrow up.

I think that was enough.

When you feel it's necessary to pull out far enough that you block traffic so my tiny car can't see around your giant pickup, you might be an asshole.

Finished playing Assassin's Creed Mirage.

Final thoughts? Pretty boring, mostly fetch & assassination quests, not much of an engaging story. This could have been a DLC for AC Valhalla.

Props to the historians & world designers. All the historical stuff was really well done.
