Those type of games can feel so bad! I'm currently on a four games losing skid, but luckily they were all close.

7-0 with Unseen huh, we've found that games with that expansion tend to go a bit longer (newness likely) and be real tight nailbiters. I really like Innovation Ultimate!

I have great respect for Al, and his combat book system. Lost Worlds, BattleTech, Ace of Aces: Jet Eagles, and Bounty Hunter: Shootout at the Saloon remain steady favorites and have been since I was a teenager in the 1980s. Sad to hear he passed.

Giro Galoppo has got to be one of the meanest little games. A racing game for children that looks so cute, but then plays like a knife-fight in a phone booth! It used to be a family favorite in our household.

My brother doesn't have depth perception, that means things can get knocked over. I guess my childhood friends and I, have had more spills and accidents over our 40+ years of gaming together. We don't ruin a game each time we play, I just shared that it happens.

Oh thanks, very kind of you. I never said that anyone cannot be trusted, we've played together my whole gaming life. So, we've ruined a few games, but so what? Nowadays we sleeve cards, and the occasional board smelling of coffee, or featuring wine stains isn't so bad.

Because it hasn't happened to you, doesn't mean it doesn't happen to anyone else. I love my brother a ton, but the poor guy has an eye defect, and due to it, not depth perception at all. I also have a bunch of friends with ADHD, and some overly hyper movements. I've seen too many games eat it.

I've yet to try any of the 1822 games. The Medium Regional Scenario is supposed to be 3-4 hours long, how long was your session? I'm still a newcomer to the whole genre of 18xx games, but smitten hard! I'm at only 18 plays of seven titles.
