I think you believing video games is objectively a form of art is pretty subjective. A person could easily believe it to be a form of entertainment in the form art or vice versa.

Art doesn’t need to be taken seriously all the time. Not many people are thinking “poor cow”, they’re thinking “haha funny cow in car”. Art can have depth, and in this case, I would say it’s nothing more than a silly little guy.
