AI-generated images are riddled with defects, but they are not artistic defects that beautify, but rather replicator defects that are disturbing to see (even when there are those who do not notice them with the naked eye). I agree with you on everything else you mentioned.

I hope it doesn't change and is applied globally. I've seen many AI users get replicas of art made by real artists and demand that no one dares to copy them because they are copyrighted. They don't respect the artists' copyrights, but they expect their supposed copyrights to be respected 😐

Any art created with AI cannot be copyrighted.
Any written word created in part with AI cannot be copyrighted unless the human author can prove they had a substantial part in the creation.

It didn't compose my favorite song or produce my favorite movie. He just creates replicas of the art we've loved.
