we see a chair and a woman tied to it - she appears to be scantily clad (bare feet, etc) and her hands are tied behind her back The world had tilted. It was her first thought as Rey swam back to consciousness, the tall windows across the way, more broken than not, hanging drunkenly off rusty hinges. The meat hooks above her, whistling and clanking under the constant air conditioning like noxious windchimes, seemed much farther away than when she’d first been manhandled and strapped into a chair. It was freezing inside. And her head was pounding. Multiple contusions were blooming down what Rey could see of her legs, and there was an ache in her jaw. But she could open and close her mouth, her blurred vision was rapidly clearing, and she found she could wiggle all ten fingers and toes. She wasn’t completely doomed yet. “Well,” drawled a voice somewhere behind her, in a tone practically engineered in a lab to provoke, “so thrilled to see you’ve finally rejoined the land of the living, princess.” Ah. Of course. They weren’t completely doomed yet. On a generous day, Rey could even admit that Solo’s presence increased the likelihood of an escape by a factor of two. But her head felt like an angry beehive, and she was lying on her side, in an absurdly cold warehouse decked out like a supervillain’s wet dream, in the merest whisper of a balconette bra and lacy thong. A fucking thong. It was not a generous day. Injecting as much of a sneer into her voice as it was possible to do while frozen blue and nearly nude, Rey replied, “So sorry, Solo, I didn’t realize you were on a strict timetable.” If she was being strictly honest, Rey knew most of her injuries, including the bump on her head, were her own fault; she’d tipped the chair and her person onto their respective sides with a bruising bang after trying—and failing—to free herself. But, if she was going to go ahead and be honest, then it was also true that Solo’s inab— “Besides, it’s your fault we’re in this position anyway.” With a bit of thrashing and even more flailing and at least several skin cells left behind on the porous concrete floor, Rey managed to flip her chair just in time to see Solo sputtering in outrage. “My fault? My fault? How is you raising the suspect’s alarm my fault, sweetheart?” Their captors—Hux’s goon squad, faceless and nameless, but with accents that Rey’s aptitude for languages had placed across four nations—had been relatively civil to her. Relatively. Agent Solo, on the other hand… While she’d been tied to a chair, he’d been strapped to a pole, arms pinioned behind his back. The tux he’d been wearing was ripped at the shoulder, his tattoos gleaming underneath, and his snowy white shirt was spotted with blood. She thought they’d broken at least two of his ribs before she lost consciousness. “Stop hurting him! He’s just a civilian I used to get into the party. The idiot knows less than nothing. I’m the only one who can help you!” He looked far worse now. The cut carving over his forehead and cheekbone, the one still dripping down his shirt, she thought it would likely scar. And one of his knees…well, knees shouldn’t do that.

What’s extremely aggravating for me about the Hunt for Ben Solo thing, contextually and canonically, is that you have characters coming back from the dead all the time, throughout the entire history of the franchise (original series, extended universe, post-Disney sale, etc).
